Open joint stock company Turboatom (Kharkiv, East Ukraine), following the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Brazilian commission on trade and economic cooperation, is preparing technical and commercial proposals for the Brazilian hydropower plant under construction Belo Monte and hydro power plant Sao Luiz do Tapajos.

In the first case we talk about installing 20 turbines of 560 MW capacity each.

According to Deputy Director General of the marketing of the plant Oleksandr Burakov, Brazil's plans to increase until 2020 the total capacity of its hydroelectric power stations by 33 MW, and by 2030 to 80 MW, build a lot of small and medium-sized hydroelectric power stations, are of interest to Turboatom in terms of expansion of the supplies.
