President Viktor Yanukovych presented facsimile of the Peresopnytsia Gospel to the National Library of China, located in Beijing.

The President said that humanitarian and cultural cooperation is an important component of productive bilateral relations between Ukraine and China. "Clearly, cultural exchange is an important foundation of our relations. Those humanitarian ties that exist between the Ukrainian and Chinese people are very old," Viktor Yanukovych said.

He noted that presents the copy of the Peresopnytsia Gospel on behalf of the public of Ukraine.
