Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has signed a decree approving an annual national program for 2010 on Ukraine's preparations for gaining membership of NATO. The text of the decree has been posted on the official website of the head of state.

The Cabinet of Ministers was ordered to draft and approve within two months a plan of measures on the implementation of the program for 2010 and submit a draft program for 2011 by February 1, 2011.

The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, the National Center for Euro-Atlantic Integration, the Foreign Ministry, and other government agencies responsible for the implementation of the program's tasks were ordered to regularly inform the public about the course and results of the program's implementation.
